The ministry said in a statement that Oberoi also spotted four advanced cattle hunting vehicles and 12 trimming machines.

Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi said on Monday that the Delhi Municipal Corporation will prepare a plan to make the streets of Delhi free of stray animals and shelters will be built to accommodate them. She said that a meeting will be held in this regard with non-governmental organizations involved in catching stray animals.

The ministry said in a statement that Oberoi also spotted four cattle hunting vehicles and 12 trimming machines. We provide relief to people from the stray animal problem. We also ensure that stray animals will not face any difficulties. We will have another meeting with NGOs involved in capturing stray animals. In this meeting, we will prepare a plan to make the streets of Delhi free of stray animals.”

She said arrangements were underway to build shelters for stray animals. “I have written a letter to Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai in the Delhi government regarding this matter,” she added.

To address the challenges posed by stray animals in Delhi, the mayor also parked four cattle-hunting vehicles. This will allow the authorities to promptly address any complaints of stray animals, according to the statement.

Tree pruning machines are very sophisticated. Officials at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs said they are equipped with telescopic arm systems and are able to reach trees and tall branches.
