Many people try to get driver’s licenses in their early twenties. However, an elderly woman from Argentina tried her hands at the wheel of a car at the age of 63 and it didn’t end up as she apparently expected. Surveillance camera footage showing the car crashed into the sidewalkand crashed against a lamppost and finally these rides flipped on social media.
According to the Daily Mail, civil defense teams and firefighters arrived at the scene and helped the woman get out of the damaged car. She sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital. It is not clear if she was in the car alone or with a driving instructor at the time of the accident.
The video of the “disastrous” test drive sparked many responses across the Internet. On Sunday, the BBC posted this video to its Instagram account. To date, it has garnered more than 47,000 likes.
Commenting, one Instagram user wrote, “Imagine you failed the test that bad and then made the whole world see it 😂😬”. Many netizens also sympathized with the elderly driver. Echoing the sentiment, one Instagram user wrote, “Poor student probably panicked when he drove that first limit and things escalated quickly…we were all there. Hope everyone is doing well. ❤️🩹”. Another person said, “I feel for it, but there’s always an Uber, and I’m glad no one got hurt.”
