Cody Rhodes opened WWE RAW this week and also competed in the first match of the night. Unfortunately, there would be a glitch that left him bleeding freely at the end of the match.
Cody faced off against Dominic Mysterio and Rhea Ripley this week after the latter was awarded a new championship to kick off the show. This came after the two ambushed him last week, and Dominic slapped him before hiding behind “Mami”.
He challenged Dominik to a match at Money in the Bank, but first, he had to face The Miz this week on RAW.
While Cody Rhodes went on to defeat The Miz, during the match, Chaos saw him slashed at the back of his head. He was thrown down the ring steps during the match, which saw him lacerate the back of his head.
The star didn’t let that stop him, but fans immediately noticed his head bleeding again and pointed it out on social media.
While not confirmed, it appears that the moment Irish leather was in the ring steps was when the cut occurred, with the cut appearing shortly after. It remains to be seen if he will deal with the wound on social media.
