To prioritize the experience of regular devotees, TTD CEO Dharma Reddy has made adjustments to the waiting line and introduced a single-line system of Vendi Vakili (Silver Entrance) to the main temple on a trial basis.
This change greatly increased the number of devotees who had the opportunity to have darshan of the presiding deity on Sundays. About 70,000 devotees benefited from the Sarva Darshan (Free Darshan) queuing line.
As per the daily rites and rituals performed by the TTD for the presiding deity, devotees now have a window of 23 hours to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
