For the first time since the establishment of the Shiv Sena in 1966, there will be two foundation day celebrations on June 19 – one organized by the real “Shiv Sena” of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the other by Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray.
While CM Shinde’s Sena will hold the 57th Foundation Day Gala at NESCO Exhibition Center in Goregaon, Sena led by Thackeray will hold the Foundation Day celebrations at Shanmukhanand Hall.
This will be the first founding day for the Shiv Sena after the split in the party in June last year and after the faction led by Shinde was recognized by the Election Commission of India as the real ‘Shiv Sena’ and also allotted the original bow of the party. Arrow symbol.
Before the foundation day celebration, Shiv Sena Uddav Balasaheb Thackeray will organize a huge plenary session of the ceremony on June 18 in Worli, where around 10,000 office workers from all over the country are expected to arrive.
“Ahead of the Foundation Day, a massive plenary session will be organized in Worli on June 18. Like every year, the Foundation Day will be held at Shanmukhanand Hall in Sion,” said Shiv Sena UBT Leader Anil Desai.
During the foundation day celebrations at the NESCO Exhibition Center in Goregaon, the Sena camp led by Shinde is likely to pass many resolutions and make new appointments for office holders.
It is expected that tremendous strength will be shown by both sides in the events. In October last year, the two Shiv Sena factions held two separate demonstrations in Dussehra.
Starting from June 19, the Shinde-led Sena festivities will be held for 11 days until June 30 to celebrate the founding day of the Shiv Sena. The BJP-Shiv Sena government led by Shinde will also complete a year in the state on June 30.
“The foundation day of Shiv Sena and the completion of one year of government will be celebrated in a big way. We will hold a door-to-door awareness program in the state to take the ideology of balasaheb (thakerai) to every household to ensure that the good work we do is known to the people,” said Eknath Shinde.
