After a long period of negotiations, Lamar Jackson was finally able to strike a new deal with the Baltimore Ravens. The quarterback is now fully bought into the franchise and ready to bounce back next season.
During the offseason, the Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr. , and that played a huge role in convincing Jackson to stay with the franchise. The 2019 NFL MVP was impressed with what he saw from OBJ in the Ravens’ junior camp and praised him.

Odell Beckham Jr. missed the entirety of last season as he was still recovering from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained in Super Bowl 2022. He tried to come back last season but unfortunately couldn’t.
However, now he’s in Baltimore and after signing a one-year deal worth up to $15 million, the star receiver will be poised to have a big season. The Baltimore Ravens lost in the AFC Wild Card Round last season, but with a healthy Lamar Jackson back, they can make the playoffs next season.
Throughout his career, Lamar Jackson did not have a star future next to him. However, that has now changed as Odell Beckham Jr. Ready to become the Ravens’ main quarterback.
It will greatly aid Jackson’s progression as a quarterback, and with Todd Monken as the new offensive coordinator, the duo is expected to have prolific seasons.
In his final healthy season, OBJ caught 44 passes for 537 yards and scored five touchdowns in 14 games. He played a huge role in the Los Angeles Rams’ run to the Super Bowl in 2021.
It had been clear over the previous several seasons that the Ravens had a chance at winning the Super Bowl if Jackson could stay healthy. The situation around the 26-year-old’s contract has finally been settled and he is excited to win the Lombardy Cup.
