According to Spanish magazine Hola, Shakira will not allow her two children, Milan and Sasha, to attend the wedding of Barcelona legend Gerard Pique’s brother.
The Colombian’s relationship with the former Spain defender has been going on for more than a decade. However, they divorced last year and have since been locked in a custody battle over children’s rights and other issues.
The pair’s relationship has taken a turn for the worse. While Gerard Pique is currently in a relationship with Clara Chia Martin, Shakira has moved to the United States. She lives in Miami with her children.
Pique’s brother is set to walk down the aisle on June 23. However, Milan and Sasha were forbidden to attend their uncle’s marriage.
The reason for their absence is due to timing issues. The Colombian is currently in Barcelona with Milan (10) and Sasha (8). However, they will depart for Miami on June 19th. The singer is not interested in extending the stay for Mark’s wedding.

Despite this, Pique has received backlash from fans, especially from his former partner, since the breakup. The Spaniard blasted them for hate on social media, saying in an interview (via Pop Cave):
“I’m so disappointed in what society is. So my ex is from Latin America… You don’t know what she got on social media from her fans. These people have no lives.”
Pique’s children currently live in the United States with their mother. The Barcelona legend visited them recently and they were seen enjoying the time by the hotel pool. This was after Pique celebrated the birthday of his girlfriend Clara Xia in Dubai.
