Amid strong advice from the Union government not to venture too close to the coast in the aftermath of Cyclone Biparjoy, Parshottam Rupala, Minister of State for Livestock, Dairy and Fisheries, visited the Ekadesh Mahadev Temple in Dwarka town in Devbhumi Dwarka district on Thursday which is located in the sea coast to pray.

Parshottam Rupala has been camping in the coastal area for the past two days and has been observing the ongoing evacuation and relief operations being carried out by government agencies.
A video of the incident also showed that Parshottam Rupala interviewed media people on the sea coast where tsunamis could be seen.
It should be noted here that the trade union government issued today, Thursday, an alert for the safety of media professionals.
“From the perspective of the safety and security of various correspondents, photographers and others working in various media organizations, especially private TV channels, it is strongly advised that media organizations may take ample precautions and due diligence in the matter of deploying their personnel in potentially affected areas and follow the precautions issued by the local administration. The state is preparing for Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ which is likely to make landfall on the Kutch coast on Thursday evening. More than 97,000 people have been moved to safer locations across the state as precautionary measures.
