Alleged fraudster Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who has been lodged in Mandoli Jail, Delhi in a ₹200 crore money laundering case, offered ₹10 crore for Odisha train accident. In a letter to Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnau, Chandrasekhar asked for permission to donate, stating that the amount was his “lawful and taxable income”.
“The contribution is from my personal funds which comes from my lawful source of earnings, which is fully taxable and documents must be submitted along with return deposits along with the said Demand Draft of Rs. Ten Crore (Rs. 10,00,00,000),” it read. the message.

Delhi Police Economic Crimes Wing (EOW) last year filed an FIR against Chandrasekhar on charges of fraud and extortion of money from Gapna Singh and Aditi Singh, wife of the former promoter of Religare Enterprises.
Delhi Police arrested both Chandrasekhar and his wife, actress Leena Maria Paul, in September last year for their alleged role in the scam case.
The names of Bollywood actors Jacqueline Fernandez, Nora Fatehi and many others came up during the investigation of the Economic Crimes Wing of the Delhi Police and Enforcement Directorate.
While he had called Nora Fatehi a ‘gold-digger’, it was alleged that Jacqueline received more than Rs 7 crore in crime proceeds from Chandrasekhar.
The alleged fraudster had written Jacqueline a letter in April sending her Easter wishes. He showered her with compliments, including that “there is no one like her on this planet.”

“Rabbi…you and I will forever come what may be mine forever,” Chandrasekhar wrote in the letter, assuring the actress that the upcoming Easter would be “the best she has ever celebrated in her life.”
Sukesh Chandrasekhar has also mentioned Jacqueline’s TV commercials for the ‘Lux Cozy’ brand. He wrote, “Baby I was thinking about us yesterday while I was watching your latest Lux Cozy ad.. This ad was so much about us.”
The alleged fraudster also said that Jacqueline was constantly reminded every time he heard the latest version of the classic Bollywood hit “Tu mile, dil khile”. Referring to her as his “heartbeat”, Chandrasekhar wrote at the end of the letter, “I love you my child, not just my love but my true love, Jackie Puma”.
