Lewis Hamilton prepares for an intense battle at the Canadian Grand Prix. After qualifying in fourth place, Hamilton set his sights on giving Fernando Alonso a tough fight and securing the podium.

While the others struggled, the Mercedes driver put in an impressive performance, getting fourth on the grid. Hamilton is set to start behind winner Max Verstappen, second-placed Haas’ Nico Hulkenberg, who has surprisingly managed to secure a place on the starting grid, and Fernando Alonso.

Aston Martin’s Alonso, who has been in top form all season, finished third in the qualifying session. The Spaniard has been a force to be reckoned with so far this season, and Hamilton is aware of the challenge he presents.

Although aware of the challenge of overtaking Max Verstappen, Hamilton remains determined to push the limits and make the most of his fourth grid position.

“We’re ahead of the Ferraris. Max will probably go. If I can stick with Alonso and give him hell, that’s what I’ll do,” Hamilton said.
