Despite the great anticipation and sudden marketing efforts, Om Raut’s legendary Adipurush It is currently facing great criticism from all angles, mainly because Subpar visual effects and dialogues. While the filmmakers have set their sights on surpassing Pathan’s record this year, the mixed to negative reviews it has received so far are likely to hinder the aspirations of the crew.

Amidst the backlash, Mukesh Khanna, best known for his hit TV series Shaktimaan, has publicly expressed his stance. Criticism of Adipurush and its creators, accusing them of “disrespecting the Ramayana”.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel Bheeshm International, Khanna said, “There is no greater disdain for Ramayana than Adiporush. Om Raut seems to have no knowledge of Ramayana and above that, we have the great bodigi Writer Manoj Muncher Shukla who transformed Ramayana into Kaluga. Its nonsensical dialogue and sleep-inducing screenplay have created a movie that could make even sleeping pills blush. This movie has nothing to do with any of the Ramayanas ever written.”

History will never forgive the makers of Adipurush for writing such horrible dialogues and for insulting Lord Hanuman, the actor assured, “It is clear after watching the movie that Raut is influenced by and inspired by the Hollywood film industry. Ramayana has stuffed this inconvenience. If you wanted to take cinematic liberties, you could have to make a fantasy film. But you have tampered with the images of the gods, and therefore, Adipurush is”Bhanak taste(Serious joke) with Ramayana.”

He further noted, “Meghnath has been reduced to looking like a cheap WWE wrestler with tattoos all over his body and mouth wrapped.”Chindidialogues. “Peta teri jali”, how can these words fit the Ramayana? Was it Tabori a personality? At the same time, I don’t think Ravan was scary. He was an expert. But, even assuming one has to show it as scary, you have to show it and not the way it was shown in this movie. You’ll wonder who designed it like that and who had the guts to do it.”

Prabha is a good human being and a good actor, Khanna said, “But this was a different movie. You have to drink Ram and let him into your heart to play him on screen. Showing off their bodies won’t make anyone Lord Ram. If you want inspiration, you can look to Arun Govil’s performance You don’t have the right to change the characterization of our epics. They had Raavan do a comic act. He wasn’t a comic character. It looks more like “last“(cheap) getaway here”.

Mukesh Khanna also criticized the way “The Golden Land” of Lanka was depicted and questioned why it was shown in shades of black so extensively.

“Even an ordinary child will know Ramayana more than the makers of this movie. We all learned Ramayana through various ways, including the epic series by Ramanand Sagar. If any of you are planning to watch this movie (Adipurush), I request you to keep your mind at home before entering into theatre,” Khanna added.

“If he watches Hanuman J in this movie, he picks a mountain and throws it at the makers of this movie,” the Shaktimaan actor said, adding, “Some people ask me, if the censor board approved a movie, then what is my problem… I want to answer them Saying that the censor board is not the supreme court. If the censor board forgets our values, we will let them know. But I wonder how the board gave approval for such films. I don’t understand how all this cost them Rs 600 crore.”

In her review of the film, Shubhra Gupta pointed out to the Indian Express: “This version of the Ramayan is unconcerned with communicating the feeling of genuine religiosity which any reading of the ‘Granth’ evokes, whether it be the more popular version of Tulsidas or the version of Valmiki.” Gupta also criticized the film for its high quality computer graphics.
