Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday noted that people from all walks of life, including members of the US Congress, share their enthusiasm for his upcoming visit to that country and said that such diverse support underscores the depth of the relationship between India and the US.

Modi tagged the Twitter account of the Indian Embassy in the US, where videos of several people, including members of the US Congress, business leaders, American Indians and others, appeared, expressing their happiness with this visit and welcome to Modi.

In a tweet, Modi said, “People from all walks of life including Congressmen, thought leaders and others share their enthusiasm for my upcoming visit to the USA. I thank them for their kind words. This diverse support underscores the depth of the India-US relationship.”

During PM Modi’s state visit to the US starting on June 21, he will hold extensive talks with US President Joe Biden and address a joint session of the US Congress for the second time, a first for any Indian Prime Minister. The Prime Minister had earlier addressed the US Congress in 2016.
