During the opening segment of the latest WWE Monday Night RAW, Finn Bálor destroyed Judgment Day member Seth Rollins.
The World Heavyweight Champion kicked off the show to take on the WWE Superstar in an open challenge. After Rollins entered, a major confrontation ensued before the 41-year-old superstar jumped in from behind and took out the champ.
Finn Balor took the fight to the outside and smashed The Visionary through the steel steps. WWE officials were out to stop the brawl, and Jason Jordan pulled it off.
However, the former first world champion jumped the steps and attacked Rollins with a coup d’état. The Doomsday member looked like he was finished, but ran up to the announce counter and hit another coup before an angry Adam Pearce ordered him to stop.
Jordan ran after the 41-year-old superstar, who pulled off his third straight flip across Seth Rollins’ chest, suggesting he might have broken ribs.
The Visionary went backstage looking for Finn Balor, who forced another attack from behind. He got his world heavyweight title and told Rollins he had been waiting for it for seven years and planned to take the championship at Money in the Bank.
It remains to be seen whether or not the world champion suffered a possible injury on RAW.
