While Activision has yet to reveal an official Call of Duty title for 2023, there have been enough leaks to suggest it will be called Modern Warfare 3. As more game-related leaks come to light, fans have been clamoring for what they can expect with this latest iteration. The latest news indicates that two classic Call of Duty maps will be featured in this upcoming title.

The latest Call of Duty 2023 leak reveals two iconic maps for Modern Warfare 3 (2023).
On their Twitter account, CoD_Persesus, one of the leading leakers in the industry, shared two brand new images that appear to be iconic maps: Terminal and Scrapyard. Unfortunately, both of these photos have been removed from Twitter, and we should refrain from using those photos.
While Scrapyard was a fan-favorite map in the first Modern Warfare 2 game, it’s back with the release of Modern Warfare (2019) and is part of the Battle Royale Verdansk map.
As for Terminal, fans have been waiting long enough to see a remaster of this. Some previous leaks indicated that it would appear in Modern Warfare 2 (2022), but it did not become a reality.
With so many leaks, including Tom Henderson’s vision that the next title will be Modern Warfare 3, the arrival of these two maps in Modern Warfare 3 isn’t a far-fetched idea.
However, Activision has not yet announced anything related to the game. Thus, any information that is revealed now is subject to change. It was rumored that the upcoming title is a sequel to the current Modern Warfare 2 game. However, the gaming giant has confirmed that it will be a full featured version, and Sledgehammer Games is developing this title.
With previous information pointing to a Modern Warfare 2 sequel and the way the game’s campaign ended, it’s no surprise that Modern Warfare 3 is the most logical game that comes to mind.
