The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of eight fugitive gang members, including Canada-based terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF).
The Federal Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on January 9 announced Dallah’s designation as a terrorist after finding him involved in heinous crimes such as murder, extortion and targeted killing along with terrorist activities.
Confirming the decision, an official said the NIA has announced a cash bounty of Rs 5 lakh on Dalla and Gaurav Patial. “Apart from them, a cash reward of Rs 1,000 each has been announced for Sandeep alias Bandar, Sokdol Singh, Gurbinder Singh alias Baba Dala, Dinesh Sharma, Neeraj Pandit and Dalesh Singh Kotia,” the official said, adding that all of them are fugitives and wanted by the agency. National Intelligence in several cases related to terrorist activities.
The official added that the accused was working from abroad and the NIA had also filed an application with the Delhi court, requesting a declaration (of a fugitive) be issued against them under Section 82 of the Criminal Procedure Code. During a final court hearing, the NIA informed the court that all of the defendants are fugitives and that they are unable to execute the arrest warrants against them without bail.
