Kochwaha seemed to be stretching while talking to the duo when a student on the bench pulled out a country-made pistol and shot him in the stomach.

Officials said a principal of a coaching institute was seriously injured by his former students for paying the fees they owed to a teacher in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh state.

The video clip of the incident, which was recorded via surveillance cameras, revealed that two students on a two-wheeled motorbike stopped and called Girwar Singh Kushwaha, Director of the Training Institute, in front of the Maeda factory located on Jura Road in the district. At about 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Kochwaha seemed to be stretching while talking to the duo when, all of a sudden, a student on his back pulled out a country-made revolver and shot him in the stomach. The shooters sprinted as Kochwaha fell to the ground clutching his wound.

Pasirbe took him to the district hospital, where he was in critical condition and was later transferred to Gwalior.

City Superintendent of Police Morena Atul Singh said the incident was due to non-payment of fees by the students. “Two students who were studying in the coaching institute two years ago did not pay the fee that teacher Jirwar Singh was asking of them. Frustrated by this, the former students made a plan and shot two people near Maeda Factory, Joura Road and fled from the place on bike.”

The police registered an attempted murder case against the accused and launched a search to arrest them.
