Bud Light has come under fire recently for his work with controversial influencer Dylan Mulvaney, but their new partnership with Dak Prescott, Travis Kelsey and George Keitel could save them. Conservatives and many other people were displeased with working with Mulvaney, but those people might appreciate the NFL stars the beer brand is now working with.
In what they’re calling the biggest summer campaign ever, they’re working with three Pro Bowlers to try to repair a brand image they may have lost and some customers dropping back.

on their websiteThey issued a statement:
To enjoy the upcoming NFL season, Bud Light also invites NFL superstars Travis Kelsey, George Kittle and Dak Prescott for more backyard fun. These players will star in new creations prior to the NFL season and appear to Over-21 fans all summer.”
Follow:
“Whether it’s Travis Kelsey lounging in the backyard, George Kettle finding his best Sunday, or Dak Prescott and his neighbors admiring his perfectly mowed lawn, Bud Light and their NFL partners help make summer easy.”
Not only will Prescott, Kittle, and Kelce work with the brand on commercials and content creation, consumers will have the opportunity to earn autographed keepsakes from one of the three.
Peyton Manning was recently seen drinking Bud Light in the College World Series, which prompted a lot of backlash. The Anheuser-Busch brand seems to have a ways to go before bringing NFL fans back to their customer base, but perhaps this is a step in the right direction.
It’s never a fair fight between quarterbacks and non-quarterbacks when it comes to winning the NFL MVP title. Adrian Peterson last won a non-QB award in 2012 and was co-MVP with Manning.
However, Prescott isn’t exactly a favorite to win the MVP award. He has better odds than George Kettle and Travis Kelsey, but is unlikely to win it at this point.
If Kettle could keep as healthy and productive as he was, he might be able to make some noise. However, Kelce is likely the best and only target for current key player Patrick Mahomes.
