After retiring from Indian cricket, as well as the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), star batsman Suresh Raina has become a restaurateur, revealing his new venture on Friday, June 23.
The cricket star has opened a new Indian restaurant in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. To announce his new project, Suresh Raina wrote on Instagram:

Over the years, I’ve seen my love for food and witnessed my culinary adventures, and now, I’m on a mission To bring authentic and authentic flavors from across India straight to the heart of Europe.
Prepare your taste buds for a wonderful journey where every dish tells a story and every bite is a celebration of Indian heritage. From the rich spices of North India to the aromatic curries of South India, Raina Indian Restaurant is a tribute to the diverse diversity and vibrant culinary texture of my beloved country. 🌶️🍛 “.
In the past, Raina’s wife, Priyanka, worked as a Senior Software Tester in Amsterdam.
Moreover, the former cricketer also tried his hand at entrepreneurship earlier too, co-founding Mate, a company that sells baby products. He has also invested in a startup called ‘Sahicoin’.

In the advert, Suresh Raina further indicated that some of his favorite items will be appearing on the restaurant’s menu. He also confirmed that the focus of the restaurant will be on quality and creativity, writing:

On the cricket front, Suresh Raina announced his retirement from international cricket just hours after MS Dhoni announced his participation on 15 August 2020. He continued to play in the IPL. However, he decided to retire from the cash-rich league as well in September 2022.
