The 14th match of the 2023 Tamil Nadu Premier League was played at the SCF Cricket Ground in Salem. Chepauk Super Gillies batted first and put 159 on the board. In reply, Nellai Royal Kings captain Arun Karthik smashed an impressive ton as they chased down the total with eight wickets in hand.
In the fifteenth match, Madurai Panthers Sikhim played exceptionally well and beat Salem Spartans for 98, thanks to three wickets from Gurgapanit Singh. Then the Madurai Fighters stepped up and chased the total in just 13 overs to win the match by seven wickets.

List of Most Played TNPL 2023
Lyca Kovai Kings’ Sai Sudharsan is the competition’s leading run-scorer with 247 runs to his name in four matches. He averages 82.33 with the bat, but Baba Abrajith has narrowed the gap with him.
Aparajith played a great knockout for Chepauk Super Gillies against Nellai Royal Kings. He scored 79 off 51 balls to take his tally to 240 runs in five matches. He now averages 60 with the bat and sits below Sudharsan on the 2023 TNPL Most Runs list.
J Agic of Royal Indigo Kings remained unbeaten in three matches against Super Gillies as he now has 188 runs to his name in five matches at an average of 62.67. Aparajith follows in the list of most runs. Arun Karthik, after his brilliant weight, jumped to fourth place, with 140 runs scored in five matches.
TNPL 2023 Most Wickets List
Varun Chakravarthy of Dindigul Dragons is the current leading wicket-taker in the Tamil Nadu Premier League 2023. The enigmatic spinner has taken eight wickets in three matches so far and averages 8.37 with the ball. He has been instrumental in the Dragons’ success in the competition thus far.
Poiyamozhi of Nellai Royal Kings bowled brilliantly against Chepauk Super Gillies. He picked up three wickets, and gave 25 runs in four innings. The right-arm middle bowler now has eight wickets to his name and has catapulted to second place in the list of most wickets in TNPL 2023.
SRK, captain of the Lyca Kovai Kings, has slipped to third in the list of highest wicket takers after the end of the match with 15. The off-spinner has taken seven wickets in four matches so far and averaged eight with the ball. He will be looking to add to his tally in their next match.
