India demanded that the Pakistani authorities conduct an honest investigation into these violent attacks on the Sikh community and share the investigation reports
In the wake of the recent attacks on members of the Sikh community in Pakistan, India has summoned a senior diplomat from the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi and lodged a strong protest over the incidents, sources said on Monday.
Between April and June 2023, four such incidents occurred and these events were taken seriously by India.
New Delhi called on the Pakistani authorities to conduct an honest investigation into these violent attacks on the Sikh community and to share the investigation reports. “In addition, it has been informed that Pakistan must ensure the safety and security of minorities who live in constant fear of religious persecution,” the sources said.
