Natan Schulte nailed his fourth straight win when he defeated Rausch Manifo via unanimous decision in PFL 6.

After the match, the PFL made the decision to eliminate Russo from the playoffs, while suspending both fighters for what they considered to be poor performance.

Schulte took to Twitter to share his displeasure with the decision to upgrade while asking Francis Ngannou for his help, saying:

“I am extremely unhappy with the decision made by the FA last night in favor of Shane Burgos’ entry into the playoffs.

he added:

You remember the Francis Ngannou vs. Derrick Lewis fight he didn’t throw 6 punches in the entire fight and wasn’t cut by his performance that night. So I ask you, Francis Nganu, since you are protecting the rights of combatants, do you think this decision is correct? “

Schulte recalls the former UFC heavyweight champion’s UFC 226 unanimous loss to Derrick Lewis. The heavyweight knockout artists combined to land only 31 total hits, only 11 of which were from The Predator. Ngannou and the PFL have both yet to respond to Schulte’s comments.

What did the MPLA say about stopping Natan Schulte?

The Popular Front issued a statement alleging that Natan Schulte and Rausch Manifu had failed to meet the standards required of the organization’s fighters, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto:

“Last night, Natan Schulte and Rausch Manifo did not meet the standards that all PFL fighters agree to maintain in competition. All fighters in PFL fight agreements agree to do their best… their skills and ability as a professional athlete to compete… and defeat any opponent. It was clear It is very important that Natan and Rausch did not meet that contractual standard in yesterday’s match.”

Schulte and Manfew are best friends and training partners who used to live together. They both act as godfathers to each other’s children and drop weight together before their lightweight bout. Russo was replaced by Shane Burgos for the final four of the Lightweight Qualifiers. The winner of the tournament will receive one million dollars.

While Burgos came in as a high-profile signing, he was only 1-1 during his first PFL season. Despite finishing just outside the top four in the lightweight standings, he will now have a chance at claiming the award this season. It is not clear if Schulte will consider appealing the decision.
