What are immortal raids in Pokemon GO?
Trainers are experiencing a serious bug wherein bosses in certain raids stay alive at one point and cannot be defeated. The monster they are fighting eventually becomes invisible and continues to attack the Pokémon, and there is nothing they can do to stop it or dodge the attacks.
People used to call them Immortal Raiders, because the bug makes Raid Boss immortal. The players eventually run out of time, and the raid ends with a message:
“Time’s up! You didn’t defeat Raid Boss in time. Please try again.”
All you can do from now on is hit OK and re-do the raid from scratch. Players all over the world are facing this problem, which did not sit well with coaches. It is clear from the countless tweets and Reddit posts that the community has become restless.

Niantic admits the Immortal Raid bug in Pokemon GO
Niantic support said they had “received similar reports”. What they did was ask the coaches to “DM” so they could get their coach info. No further details of how players will be compensated for the huge inconvenience have been revealed.
