2023 has been an eventful year for the Singapore-based organization so far.
A change of hands at several world titles and a couple of new signings, notably multi-time K-1 World Champion Takeru Segawa, made the possibility of a Rodtang vs. Superlek at the festival is indirect.
Newly crowned World Bantamweight Champion Jonathan Haggerty is open for a three-way contest against the ‘Ironman’.
Superlek, on the other hand, stated that he would be eager to fight with the Londoner after his success at ONE Friday Fights 22.
The Takeru-Rodtang tag will be another huge match that might be one of the most talked about fights in kickboxing. If this does not materialize, the rivalry between the Japanese superstar’s signature and the “kicking machine” could be another debatable avenue.
Whichever way it’s done, one way or another, martial arts fans are eager to see the world Muay Thai world champion flyweight try to become the world champion in two sports against the Superlek.
For now, let’s relive Superlek’s last win at One Friday fights 22Available via replay on the organisation’s official YouTube channel.
