“Not buying”- Fans refuse to purchase Madden 24 after another clip of poor blocking in-game goes viral

Madden has a lot of problems as a video game franchise. Many fans wish there was another option to play soccer as a video game, since EA Sports often doesn’t implement the right changes, if any, year after year. One of the main complaints is that the game’s ban system needs an overhaul.

There was an expectation that the game would finally fix this issue. For the first time in a long time, in-game bans should have worked properly, but based on an early clip shared to Reddit, that may not be the case.

In the group, the entire Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line is turned on to easily handle Nagy Harris for a loss. Most of the guards, who were swinging wide to create space on the rim, didn’t make contact with the cannons. Several of them ran across an open space to make a very easy tackle for a loss.

Although the game has other issues, this one has been upsetting fans for a long time. The purported fixes were exciting, but seeing the ban in action left the community less than thrilled.

Much of the community decided not to buy the game. In theory, if they want to cut sales low enough, EA might have to listen and make drastic changes to the game.

However, it is still a very popular game that many people buy, especially since there are no other options.

Perhaps EA will continue to work to listen to and abide by the community’s suggestions, and there is still plenty of time before Madden 24 is released. However, they may have lost some players.

When is Madden 24 officially released?

For all potential buyers, it is essential to know when the game will be released. It is scheduled to be released on August 18th. Madden 24 will arrive roughly halfway through the NFL pre-season.
