World Bank to provide $500 million budget support to Sri Lanka

Colombo: Sri Lanka will enter into an agreement with the World Bank for budget support worth $500 million after it was approved by the Cabinet on Tuesday, according to a government statement.
The statement said that funding from the World Bank will come in two tranches.
