Another bridge was washed away in Bihar on Wednesday, weeks after a bridge over the Ganga river that was supposed to link Khajaria district with Bhagalpur district collapsed.

This is not the first time the bridge has collapsed. Also in the past, I have requested an investigation into the cause of the accident. I have also requested strict action be taken against those responsible,” CM Nitish Kumar said when the bridge collapsed earlier this month.
Kumar said the bridge was “not built properly, which is why it collapses again and again”. “The administration will look into the matter and action will be taken,” he added.
