According to the police, Naseem Malik married Narges, 25, five months ago with the help of mediator Saddam. Nasim and Narges fought on Friday and both went to Saddam to ask for his intervention, but he escaped
Police said a 26-year-old man shot dead his newly married wife and later killed himself after an argument with her in Makhyali village in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday.
Police said another man, who intervened in the fight to calm the two, was also shot and wounded. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
(Rural) Police Inspector Atul Srivastava said two pistols were recovered from the scene.
According to the police, Naseem Malik married Nargis, 25, five months ago with the help of mediator Saddam.
Nasim and Narges fought on Friday and both went to Saddam to ask for his intervention, but he escaped.
Police said that after the couple started quarreling again at Saddam’s house, Saber, a neighbor, came to comfort the two and Nasim shot him.
After shooting Saber, Naseem rides his bike with Narges but stops at a distance and shoots her dead. Police said he then killed himself.
According to the Minister of Health, Nassim worked as a driver in a Gulf country and was not satisfied with his marriage.
