North Zone demoted North Eastern to 58/3 after setting them a huge target of 666 on Day 3 of Quarter Final 2 of the Duleep Trophy 2023 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, 30th June.

Saurabh Kumar claimed 4/33 as Central Province demolished Eastern Province for 69/6 in their second innings in the first quarter-final of the Duleep Trophy 2023 at the KSCA Cricket Ground in Alor. After Central Province were out for 239 in the second innings and Eastern Province set a target of 300, they responded forcefully with the ball.

Resuming their second innings at 64/0, Central District was out for 239. Conqueror Himanshu Mantri and Vivek Singh, who were unbeaten on 25 and 34 respectively, continued the good work on Day 3 and went on to complete their half each. Centuries.

Kumar also trapped Anustop Majumdar LBW for 11. Shahbaz Ahmed (18) was the next caught behind Kumar, while Shantanu Mishra (18) also died in the same position.

The terror for Eastern Province did not end there in the 2023 Duleep Trophy quarter-final match. They were six down for 69 runs at stumps as Kumar Koshagra was trapped lbw by Shivam Mavi.
