In response to a bold claim from a fan, WWE Superstar Ricochet has confidently confirmed that Samantha Irvin is still his partner.
Samantha Irvine was surprised when she noticed Rhea Ripley was trying to woo her at a Liverpool live event. Ripley even went so far as to send Samantha a kiss, to which the latter replied that she loved her.
The video quickly went viral on Wrestling Twitter. WWE Superstar and Irvin’s real-life partner Ricochet noticed it as well, and responded with a heartfelt tweet. A fan responded to the video as well and told Ricochet that Samantha had gone missing. The former US champion responded to the fan’s tweet, asking if they wanted to bet on her. WWE Superstar has been with Samantha Irvin for two years now
Ricochet and Samantha Irvin made their relationship public in late 2021. He has opened up in the past about him proposing to Irvin:
I realized, ‘That’s what it was. So, we kept walking, and I asked this couple to take a picture of the three of us. Later, I asked Samantha to take a picture of just me and Myra, which surprised her, because I never asked to take pictures. I got down (on my knees) and started crying.”
Ricochet also revealed how Samantha Irvine’s daughter reacted when he proposed to her:
She was like, ‘Okay, yeah. Can we go to the restaurant already? I am hungry! It was funny, but it’s so normal for her to have her mom together. That’s all she knows. I’ve known her for two and a half years, which is like half her life.” (H/T Wrestling Inc)
Rhea Ripley’s playful gesture towards Samantha Irvin has left the WWE Universe divided. Ripley has been one of the most entertaining acts on RAW lately. Ripley’s best friend, Cathy Kelly, wasn’t too happy about the incident.
