TMC National Secretary General Abhishek Banerjee attacked the BJP-led center for allegedly withholding the state’s share of funds under various welfare schemes, and said that after the panchayat elections, more than 10 people from West Bengal were marching with him to Delhi to claim their right. Involved.

The three-caste panchayat elections in West Bengal will be held on July 8 with the counting of votes on July 11.
Addressing a rally in Parbani district of Paschim Bardman district on Friday, Abhishek said, “We have to pledge that the BJP-led central government, which has suspended legal dues to the state under various schemes, will not get a vote in the panchayat polls. Those who want to disenfranchise Bengalis (of funds) should show by the power of voting that the people of the state do not bow before strangers from Delhi.”

“After the panchayat elections, we will march to Delhi with 10 people to protest against the discriminatory policies of the BJP against Bengalis,” said the Trinamool Congress leader.

“They have banned (the Centre) 7,500 crores under the scheme of 100 working days only for Bengal and not for any other state. This is nothing but a political vendetta against the people of Bengal who rejected the BJP.”

“Those who have not received money for Awas Yojana or the 100 Days of Work Scheme should know that as soon as the panchayat polls are over, we will head to Delhi to fight for our rights… It will be my responsibility to organize the movement and take everyone to Delhi. All we need is Support the people. If need be, I will sit opposite Krishi Bhavan in indefinite excitement. “We will not leave Delhi until the center releases our dues,” Abhishek said. Diamond Harbor’s TMC MP also targeted the center over fuel costs. “Where’s the BJP vibe (the days good)? The cost of petrol used to be 50 rupees per liter but now it has increased to 100 rupees per liter. Kerosene which used to be worth 15 rupees has now gone up to
120 rupees. “

Citing examples of welfare schemes launched by the state government led by Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek said, “Mamata Banerjee government is giving Rs 500 per month to women under Lakshmi Bhandar scheme and Rs 1,000 to women belonging to SC/ST communities. On the other hand, Modi government is grabbing 1,000 rupees in the name of linking Aadhaar and PAN cards. The people have to decide who they support – who helps them or who plunders them. They have to decide whether they support development or authoritarianism.”
Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Abhishek said, “Two days ago, the PM said he is taking action against the corrupt… Those who were seen taking money on camera are senior leaders of the BJP… Sudipto Sen wrote letters against senior leaders of the party BJP Hemanta Biswa Sharma and Sufindu Adhikari – one is the chief minister of the state and the other is the leader of the Bengali opposition… Their two-engine government means doubling down on looting and looting through ED-CBI and state police.”

Sudipto Sen is the main accused in the Saradha chit fund scam of 2013. In this case, several companies, including Saradha, were alleged to have defrauded investors of around Rs 10,000 crore through a Ponzi scheme.
