They fled the scene when a police team arrived at the hospital after getting information about the attack. Based on the eyewitness accounts and after examining the CCTV images, we identified the suspects and later detained them,” a senior police officer told PTI.
He added that the arrest was registered under sections of the Hospital Protection Law and they will be brought before the court soon.
In May, a 23-year-old female doctor was brutally stabbed to death by a patient in the state’s taluk hospital.
