In Dandhoka, Gujarat, a case of stolen underwear sparked a riot between two groups of the same caste. The incident was reported from Dhandhuka village in Ahmedabad on 27 June.

Frustrated with the constant disappearance of her underwear, the woman decided to investigate the case by performing an operation.
For this purpose, she kept her phone camera on the balcony to track movement and catch the thief in the act. The recorded footage then revealed that her neighbor had carried out the thefts.
The next day, she was secretly watching the man and saw him grab her underwear. He melted it down only to discover a bunch of stolen confidantes.” TOI quotes said a police official.
A heated argument broke out between the two parties as the woman confronted the alleged thief, and the angry man reportedly molested and assaulted her.
The woman’s cries for help prompted her family to come out with sticks and relatives of both sides started attacking each other.
Soon a riot broke out and more than 10 were injured in the skirmish, TOI reported.
Inspector B N Zinzuwadia of Dandhoka Police said at least 10 people were injured in the fight and 20 people were arrested from both sides.
