RRR star Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Konidela, welcomed their first child, daughter Klin Kaara, in June. The couple recently held a grand naming ceremony at their residence in Hyderabad, which was also attended by Upasana’s parents, Anil Kameneni and Shobana Kameneni. Now, Shabana reveals that she initially wanted to give Upasana the same name, but decided against it. Upasana responded to her mother’s post.
Shabana uploaded photos from the baby’s naming ceremony on her social media account, writing in the caption, “Upasna, I wanted to name Yo Klinkara, when I was born. Thank you both (Ram & Upasna) for the most perfect baby in your love, who will be our transformative energy in The future. We love you, Kara.”

Upon the birth of Kaleen Kara, superstar Chiranjeevi’s father, Ram Charan, made the big announcement. He said in a statement: “Welcome to Little Mega Princess!! You have spread joy among the huge family of millions upon your arrival as much as you have made Blessed Parents @AlwaysRamCharan &upasanakonidela and us, the Grandparents, happy and proud!!”
Later, while addressing the media, Chiranjeevi said that the baby girl had a positive impact on everyone’s lives. Speaking to the media outside the hospital, he said, “The baby girl was born at 1:49 am on Tuesday. Our whole family is elated. This occasion is of great significance to us as we have been wishing Ram Charan and Upasana to become parents for many years. On this special occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who showed support and sent wishes. We are happy to welcome our granddaughter, especially on our favorite day, Tuesday. It is believed that the baby girl was born during the auspicious hours, and her horoscope is also wonderful. We can see the positive influence on our family from the very beginning. Career growth For Charan and Varun’s involvement, everything is going well in our family.”
Many celebrities from the Telugu film industry visited the baby in the hospital. Celebrities like Allu Arjun, Varun Tej and Allu Aravind have visited Upasana and Klin Kaara.
