AEW star Jeff Hardy injured; return date possibly revealed

AEW star Jeff Hardy has suffered another unfortunate injury. This is said to be a dislocated jaw he suffered during an episode of AEW Dynamite last month. Still, there’s optimism that The Charismatic Enigma won’t have to miss out on too much time.

Jeff Hardy had fallen into his loop after a year-long hiatus this past May at Double or Nothing when he teamed with his brother Matt and Hawk to take on The Firm. His next match came on an episode of AEW Dynamite a few weeks ago when he faced The Gunns. The Hardys lost the match due to interference from Bullet Club Gold.

Talking about extreme life PodcastMatt Hardy broke the news of his brother’s jaw injury during the aforementioned match against The Gunns. As for the reason, it is mentioned that this happened during Juice Robinson’s attack the same night as the coin roll.

A coin roll dislocated his jaw. They thought maybe it was broken, but it was taken off so it looks like it only has 2 weeks left. So yeah. It is what it is. It’s pro wrestling. It’s not ballet, as they say. (Erosion wrestling)

As AEW heads into its nearly three-week Canadian leg, it looks like Jeff Hardy will, unfortunately, not be making the trip to the Great White North. This is due to his previous arrests, which prevented him from entering the country.

according to combat selectionHardy is slated to miss all eight shows that will take place in Canada. AEW can record pre-recorded segments for the show, but it won’t be physically present. Even in his absence, his brother, along with Ethan Page and Isiah Cassidy, would have made appearances for the promotion.

It is very unfortunate that many circumstances prevent Jeff Hardy from competing in the Jacksonville-based promotion. However, there is still a chance he could return later this month if his injury is well taken care of.
