He also said that Sunny expressed its satisfaction and gratitude for the steps taken by the government in this regard.

The government’s decision and the position of the minister came in the wake of laboratory results indicating that the materials seized from the beauty salon did not contain any narcotic substances.

Lab results said lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) was not detected in the stamps in the packaging seized from her salon.

Chemical analysis of 12 “small, stamp-like, hard paper pieces weighing 0.160 grams” was carried out at the Department of Chemical Examiners Laboratory, Ernakulam.

The excise officials had arrested the woman on February 27 after raiding her beauty salon in Chalkody district of the state’s Thrissur district, on the basis of a complaint.

She was released on bail after two and a half months.

The woman told the media on Friday that she was “trapped” by someone and sought a detailed investigation to find out the real culprits behind it.
