Prime Minister Modi will visit the famous Bhadrakali Temple before attending the events and will deliver a speech at a public meeting.
Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for several development projects in Warangal in Telangana on July 8.
He said that Modi will visit the famous Bhadrakali temple before attending the events and will address a public meeting.
The union minister said the center had decided, in principle, to set up a rickshaw manufacturing unit in Warangal.
“I am happily conveying this to the people of Warangal on behalf of Narendra Modi ji, as the rickshaw manufacturing unit will come up in Warangal town,” he told reporters in Warangal.
He said that the proposed unit to be established by the center will be capable of manufacturing 200 vehicles per month. He said unit cost, hiring possibilities and other details will be announced soon. “But, in principle, the Government of India has decided to set up a wagon manufacturing unit in the city of Warangal, (with) more than 200 cars per month with a manufacturing capacity,” he said.
He pointed out that the vehicle manufacturing unit is in addition to the periodic repair unit that will be established in the city. He said the Chief Minister agreed to perform ‘bhumi puja’ for the chariot manufacturing unit.
The union minister said other development work includes laying the foundation for national road projects. He alleged that the BRS government in Telangana was spreading false campaign about the NDA government in the centre, and asserted that the Modi government does not discriminate between states.
