The Minister of the Union praised the postal department, and said that it has shifted from delivering materials to providing various welfare programs and has become the most important part of the center and its social care programs.
Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy has unveiled the ‘9 Years of Telangana’ postcard and picture postcards showcasing the ‘Buddhist Heritage of Telangana – Phavapur Kuru’ here.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and new initiatives that have helped transform India Post into a multi-service agency providing services to citizens “on the basis of value for money”.
In an official statement released on Friday, he said that by leveraging the services of the Postal Department as the last mile communication, the central government plans to make the Postal Ministry a “one-stop solution” for all scheme services so that the fruits of welfare programs reach the citizens in remote parts of the country.
The Minister of the Syndicate praised the Postal Administration, and said that it has shifted from delivering materials to providing various welfare programs and has become the most important part of the center and the social care programs it provides.
