Police said a worker from Bihar, who was working in the basement of Lok Nayak Hospital, was electrocuted on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sujit Kumar, a resident of Samastipur in Bihar. Police said another worker helped take the victim to hospital. The crime team and the FSL security team are conducting on-site inspections.
Sanjay Sen, DCP (centre), said they received information about the incident around 9 am. Another worker witnesses Kumar being electrocuted and brings him to the Lok Nayak Hospital, where he is pronounced dead. We are investigating. The accident happened when the deceased was working.”
