WWE fans in England were over the moon Saturday night as the country hosted its first ever Money in the Bank Premium Live event. Grayson Waller came out on the show to confront the returning John Cena, but was taken down by an Attitude Adjustment. The next day, Waller found another way to beat the English crowd.

John Cena made a surprise comeback at Money in the Bank and has fans pumping for a potential WrestleMania event in England. Grayson Waller interrupted, calling for the show to be held in Australia instead. Cena silenced the 33-year-old star with his butt before ending the part.

A day later, Waller had something to brag about, thanks to the Australian cricket team. Cricket fans in England were not cool on Sunday as their team lost the second Ashes Test to Australia.

Waller immediately took to Twitter to rub salt in the wounds of English cricket fans. He stated that not only does England get a WrestleMania, but they also get “crushed into ashes”.

Waller wrote “No Mania, crush in the ashes (sic). England really are still losers 🤣”.

Check out the tweet below:

England lost the match by 43 runs after their captain Ben Stokes used a ‘Bazball’ strategy and hit 155 off just 214 balls.

Grayson Waller Edge will host after WWE Money in the Bank

WWE has been investing in Grayson Waller quite a bit over the past few months. He got his first big break when WWE gave him a rivalry against AJ Styles during his time in NXT.

Waller followed it up with some big categories with the women on the main roster and recently got the chance to rub shoulders with John Cena at Money in the Bank. His next appearance would see Edge hosting an edition of The Grayson Waller Effect.

Grayson Waller was in a segment with John Cena in his PPV main roster debut, and will also be in a segment with Edge on MSG’s SmackDown. Too cool for him.

The R-rated superstar’s appearance on the show could lead to a rivalry between the two men, leading to a major match at SummerSlam. Waller has already rubbed shoulders with some legendary wrestlers, and Edge could become the next big name on his list.

Edge was last seen in the first round of the World Heavyweight Title tournament when he faced Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles. The Hall of Famer will now return after more than a month, and it remains to be seen if a new feud will be drawn up for him.
