Police said on Monday that a 27-year-old man was shot dead in Sirakila Kharswan district of Jharkhand state.

They added that the victim, Firoz Ansari, was shot in the chest and stomach near his home.
Police said he was taken to the main Tata hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
They said Fayrouz, an electrician, was involved in selling brown sugar.
Police said the incident was suspected to be the result of gang rivalry over the drug trade in the area.
Superintendent of Police Anand Prakash visited the site on Monday and spoke to the officers there.
A police unit has been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
