Few college players have sent excitement levels through the roof quite like Arch Manning. The Texas Longhorns quarterback is the son of Cooper Manning, with Peyton and Eli being his uncles.

Naturally, he wants to start off on the right foot, and that means getting in shape. Going by the photo that’s since gone viral of the Longhorns QB’s room, Arch Manning, along with all of his other quarterbacks, is in top physical shape.

But of course, that doesn’t translate into success on the field. Once NFL fans saw the photo, naturally, comments came in, with one fan saying the photo was bizarre.

“Honestly, this is kind of weird.”

@employee Honestly, this is rather strange.

Other fans shared their thoughts on Arch Manning’s photo.

Arch Manning is entering his freshman season in college versus Tom Brady entering his NFL rookie season.

@tweet I wonder which one will be a legend and which one will be on fire, for not being overly broke. You can have a great physique but this helps you read defenses and gives you great instincts. 🤔

Peyton & Eli should borrow their dad’s Texas QB Arch Manning practice. 😂

@employee This is eccentric behaviour

So it seems a lot of people aren’t buying into the Texas hype after this photo. But for now, the Longhorns have a decent quarterback room, headlined by Murphy and Arch.

Getting into college football is hard enough for most high school players, but when you have the family name that is considered football kings, it adds an extra layer of what people expect.

With Peyton and Eli Manning each winning Super Bowls twice and setting a number of franchise records for their respective teams, many have staked out the Arch to themselves.

While his high school numbers are incredible (8,539 passing yards, 115 touchdowns, and just 19 interceptions in four years), translating that into college football is an entirely different matter.

Much has been said about Arch Manning’s choice of Texas, but it’s clear that he wants to go his own way and not that of his uncles.

Despite the hype around Arch, some aren’t sure if he’ll be a starting quarterback for the Texans, but time will tell if the Longhorns want to move forward with Arch.
