The 2023 NASCAR Quaker State 400 is scheduled for Sunday (July 9) at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Fans can watch the race on USA Network and NBC Sports at 7 p.m. ET.
Sunday’s race will be the nineteenth race of the 2023 NASCAR season in Hampton, Georgia. You’ll see the next-generation car in action for the third time since its debut.
Atlanta Motor Speedway has an angle of 24 degrees on the turns and 5 degrees on the straights. The circuit opened in 1960 and hosted its first Cup Series race that same year, with Fireball Roberts winning the inaugural event.
The 37 NASCAR drivers entering the Cup Series race this week will compete over 260 laps of the 1.54-mile quad-oval highway. The Cup Series weekend will begin with a qualifying session on Saturday (July 8) and end with the Quaker State 400 main race on Sunday.
Atlanta Motor Speedway will host the 19th Cup Series season event, 17th Xfinity Series event, and 14th Truck Series event in over three days.
Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports enter as the defending Quaker State 400 championship winners after pulling off a thrilling victory at last year’s event.
