The 32-year-old actress, who has been in the film industry for nearly a decade, shared the announcement on her Instagram page.
“Time to change the pace! I’ve been in this magical industry living my dreams for the last 9 years. I’ve taken small steps, learned, evolved and grown into the actor I am today!” Sanon wrote, “I absolutely love every bit and aspect of filmmaking (sic).
“Now, it’s time to do more, to be more, to learn more, to tell more stories that touch my heart and I wish you too. Here’s to the constant evolution and finding the most beautiful version of yourself.”
The actress teased that she will be announcing “something special” on Wednesday.
“Beyond excited to start BLUE BUTTERFLY FILMS with a full heart and big dreams!!”, said Sanon, who was last seen on the big screen in Adipurush.
On the acting front, Kriti Sanon’s upcoming projects include dystopian thriller Ganpath with Tiger Shroff, a romantic drama opposite Shahid Kapoor, and The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu.
