The MLB Immaculate Grid for July 4 includes a cross section between the Milwaukee Brewers and Boston Red Sox.

In today’s grid, players have to guess the name of one player who played for both the Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers.

One of the most recent players to play for both teams is Jackie Bradley Jr. The outfielder spent the first eight years of his career with the Boston Red Sox before moving to Milwaukee in 2021 for a two-year, $24 million contract.

However, things did not go as planned for Bradley as he averaged a league-low . 163 for anyone with at least 324 plate appearances.

He returned to Boston as part of a trade and spent half a season there before being released as a free agent. Currently, he is signed to the Kansas City Royals organization who have assigned him to duty after a lackluster 2023.

MLB Immaculate Grid struck a chord among fans, who praised the game for its interesting use of stats. In the game, players have to think of answers to fill in a 3×3 grid with two types of categories on each side (either a team name or a statistic).

As the name suggests, each answer must be pure, leaving no room for error due to the grid system. Every day, the game is updated and a new grid is unveiled for the fans.

Other players who have played for the Brewers and Red Sox

“Mayor of Ding Dong City” Travis Shaw spent two franchise terms with one year on the Toronto Blue Jays in 2020 sandwiched between them.

Moreover, Japanese superstar Hideo Nomo spent a year in both Boston and Milwaukee after his four-year stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
