Earlier in May, the Union Ministry launched the Sanchar Saathi Portal (www.sancharsaathi.gov.in), a citizen-centric initiative that provides a secure digital space for telecom subscribers. Through the TAFCOP portal, launched by the Communications Department, anyone can check the number of mobile phone connections in their name and report the unauthorized connection(s).
