First teaser for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor bawal fell on wednesday. The short video gives a glimpse into the love story between the main couple and how they fight for love. Towards the end, we also see them fight for their lives amidst a genocidal-like environment, which has fans curious. The movie, as readers may know, is a love story with World War II in the background. Set in the heart of India, the captivating narrative of the film will take the audience on a journey like never before across Europe.

The teaser begins with Varun’s character Ajay gazing lovingly at Janhvi’s Nisha as they go shopping. The audience is soon taken by several visual situations where Ajay appears to be completely in love but Nisha is reluctant. The soothing voice of Arijit Singh singing, “Tom Pierre Karne Dit Tooth Ketna Pierre Karti,” sums up the couple’s relationship. Janhvi’s character also mentions how it took her a lot of time to understand what they share, and now that it’s time for them to break up. Towards the end, we also see Nisha and Ajay gasping for breath as they are locked in the gas chamber by an officer, hinting that they are victims of the Holocaust.

The teaser not only impressed the audience, but left them curious as well. Some of the comments on the video read, “The ending was unexpected but overall I am excited for Bawaal”, “This movie will make history in another original content with something different.
