The former WWE star has called out the company for its lack of communication with her contract expiring.

during an interview on Ring BelleAlicia Fox revealed that she was surprised to have a “legend” on a WWE jersey and received phone calls asking if she was retired. Alicia claimed there was very little communication with her before her WWE contract expired in April of this year.
“It’s sad (that there was no connection in the end) and I can’t use my social media and say what? I thought maybe it’s my release date, they’re going to give me a statement of support saying, well, I’m gone. No, nothing. No. I know. I just felt bad, you know? I just felt sad about every misunderstanding or something,” she added. (H/T: post grab)

Alicia Fox talks about the current generation of WWE Superstars
Alicia Fox discussed the current generation of female wrestlers who want to be technicians, not entertainers.
During her talk on Ring BelleFox pointed out that the new generation of female stars are artistic workers and wondered if that had brought in fans.
They were, like, wanting to be technical wrestlers (the next group of women to take over after Jill Fox), and that’s where it gets funny since that was what reality TV was most about. Technical wrestlers, that’s fine. But Can you put your a**es in the seats? Does anyone want to come and see you doing thousands of jelly rolls?” Fox asked.
Alicia Fox added that some of today’s leading stars are “basics” and said she used to do episodes with Maryse and Mickie James on OVW.
“We all know how to work it out from the girls before us. The Beths, The Mickies. So we were like the kids who are like, ‘We’re techy,’ you know, and they’re all, NXT.” Remember Derby Park? OVW? We put those rings on. That’s what I say. Me, Maris put the rings back, Mickey, all these girls. All these girls who opened the doors for Sasha (Banks), for Bayley’s sake and no offense, some of them are naive.” (H/T: Post-wrestling)
The post about “Bailey and Sasha not putting butts in the seats” wasn’t about them. But speaking in general of women who just want to be wrestlers and don’t want to be entertainers.
Alicia Fox stated that Bayley and Sasha were masters at their craft and she loved working with them. But speaking in general of women who just want to be wrestlers and don’t want to be entertainers.
Although her time with the company didn’t end in perfect fashion, Alicia Fox still has a run to be proud of in WWE. It will be interesting to see if the former Divas Champion returns to the company in the future.
