The petitioner challenged the Gujarat High Court order which denied her request for regular bail and ordered her to surrender immediately in a case of alleged fabrication of evidence to harm innocents in the post-Godra riot cases in 2002.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday extended temporary protection granted to activist Teesta Setalvad in a case related to an allegation of fabrication of evidence in the 2002 Gujarat riots.
The Supreme Court posted the case for hearing on July 19.
The petitioner challenged a Gujarat High Court order that rejected her petition for regular bail and ordered her to surrender immediately in a case of alleged fabrication of evidence to harm innocent people in the post-Godhra riot cases of 2002.
