The Jharkhand court on Wednesday sentenced ten people to ten years’ rigorous imprisonment in the Tabriz Ansari lynching case.

Ansari, accused of motorbike theft, was beaten by a mob in Jharkhand’s Sarikela Kharswan district in June 2019. A video showed him being made to chant “Jai Shri Ram” and “Jai Hanuman”. died later.
