Days after Ajit Pawar and eight other MNCs were inducted into state government, Prahar Janshakti Party MLA Bachchu Kadu on Thursday expressed his displeasure at the development and said the BJP should have discussed it with all components of the alliance. .

Kadu said that he and the Sena MLAs led by Shinde were fed up with the NCP in the Maha Vikas Agadi (MVA) government led by Uddhav Thackeray and that is why they supported the BJP but now it seems they made a mistake by supporting the BJP.

“Since the NCP has joined the Shinde-Fadnavis government, there will obviously be resentment among the MLAs who went with Shinde. We got tired of the NCP and so we went with the BJP. The NCP did not allow us to work. Now The MLAs feel that it was wrong to support the BJP because the BJP has brought the NCP into government,” Kadoo said.

There has been unrest between the Shinde-led Sena MLAs and leaders since the Ajit-led camp joined the government, with many of them even expressing their displeasure openly. The discontent forced CM Eknath Shinde to convene a meeting of the party’s core committee on Wednesday and address their concerns.

“The 40 Sena MLAs who support Shinde are now in a dilemma. A year ago, we got tired of the NCP and therefore supported the BJP. Now there is a fear that Ajit Pawar will squeeze our development funds again and meddle in our decisions,” said Kadu.
